Due to the 2008 freeze in the procurement of systems and integration projects during the completion of the SmartGrid Roadmaps and Standards development underway at NIST, EPRI, DOE, and other forums, Power Catalyst experienced a lack of short-term revenue, forcing it to close its doors in July 2009.
