The mission of the Positive Psychology Center at the University of Pennsylvania is to promote research, training, education, and the dissemination of Positive Psychology, resilience and grit. Positive Psychology is the scientific study of the strengths that enable individuals and communities to thrive. The University of Pennsylvania in collaboration with the online education platform Coursera has launched a specialization certificate program, "Foundations of Positive Psychology". This five-course series provides learners with the key theories and research in the field of positive psychology as well as opportunities for application.
