PWA believes in big dreams and good careers for all high school students. We see meaningful access to career development as a matter of social and economic justice. PWA builds enduring partnerships between local businesses and Portland-area high schools. By providing students with real-life work experiences and career-learning opportunities, we enrich their academic knowledge, inspire them to graduate and help them make informed choices after high school and college. We welcome all students, with extra outreach to higher-poverty and marginalized communities. PWA paves the way for employers to strengthen and diversify their workforce, and for young people to find good careers.
