The Port of Cromarty Firth is the statutory harbour authority for the Cromarty Firth, which spans 46 miles of coastline and includes 5 key marine facilities:
1. Invergordon Service Base - built on more than 40 acres of developed land alongside 400m of quayside.
2. Admiralty Pier - a dedicated cruse facility able to handle vessels over 300m in length, welcoming over 90,000 cruise passengers into the Highlands each year
3. Saltburn Pier - bulk cargo pier
4. Highland Deephaven - a purpose built spool base, specialising in advanced pipeline fabrication
5. Nigg Energy Park - re-established in 2011 and owned by Global Energy, Nigg offers a dry dock.
The Port exists to improve, develop and safeguard the Cromarty Firth, for the benefit of all current and future stakeholders. We work everyday to sustainably enhance the community, manage the marine environment and provide a strong foundation for commerce and employment.
A number of enterprises and service providers operate across the 5 marine facilities, offering expert services in IRM, Cruise, Cargo, Renewables, Subsea, and Anchorages.
We have successfully operated as a Trust Port for over 40 years, reinvesting all profits back into the Port, the Cromarty Firth and the local community. Our vision is to create choice and opportunity for all.
