The origins of “Varadero Port Denia” go back to the year 1940, when D.Manuel Noguera Bernabéu started his activity in Dénia with a workshop for repairs created mainly to service the fishing fleet in the area.
In 1960 they received the first administrative grant in the port of Denia to build industrial premises of 240m². On these facilities they began to build machinery destined primarily to the fishing fleet, as dragging winches and clutching systems.
In 1965, after his children joined the management of the company, they decided to expand the installations and new divisions for Caulking, Pleasure Craft and Shipyards were established.
In 1974 the management is taken over by D. Francisco Noguera Roselló. During this stage the company is allotted the exploitation of what is up to this day the Shipyard of the port of Denia, to which other activities and port spaces have been subsequently added.
Since then, they reach the current situation where they have the exploitation of the old reformed shipyards for vessels of a higher tonnage, workshop premises and shipyard and other buildings for nautical supplies on a plot of 5.000m² and 900 covered m².
During the year 2008 the new industrial area of the port of Denia, planned by the port zoning, is a reality.
We are now beginning a new journey, but with the same energy and professionalism that has always characterized us.
