About
Platform2 is an overseas volunteer programme for 18-25 year olds who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford to help out in developing countries. The programme is fully-funded by the Department for International Development (DFID) meaning there are no significant costs to the participants. We send young people on 10 week trips to places like South Africa, Ghana, Peru and India to volunteer on community projects and then work with them to spread awareness of development issues in their communities in the UK.
