Plantworks

Plantworks Limited is a biotechnology company. PlantWorks is the UK's only mass producer of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF), with an annual output of 150 tonnes. Originally a spin-out from the International Institute of Biotechnology (IiB), today, the company is one of Europe's largest producers, maintaining a core scientific team with expertise in mycology, bacteriology and plant sciences. In relation to beneficial microbes, we produce two main forms, mycorrhizal fungi and beneficial bacteria - namely, a group referred to as Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR). The mycorrhizal fungi products are 'grown' and delivered on a granular media in the range 0.5-3 mm, with the bacteria products being supplied in liquids for spraying. PlantWorks is a vertically integrated company.
