Planeta Inform has been on the CIS market since 2001. It consists of four main business units: film production and distribution, international sales, marketing and PR agency, publishing house. PRODUCTION The line up includes films and series of different genres: comedies, horrors, documentaries. The Bride, the most succesful Russian horror in CIS box office, was produced in collaboration with IVI, the biggest VoD-platform in Russia. Roses of Modigliani is the Russian and Italian co-production. DISTRIBUTION The company acquires and distributes all rights for the CIS market. Among our partners are Nu Image, Lionsgate, Studiocanal, Gazprom Media, National Media Group etc. INTERNATIONAL SALES The International Sales Department was launched in 2009. The content has been sold in more than 120 countries. Total box office (BO) for all projects in international sales is over 23M USD. The Bride: The BO of this horror title was $6,495,256 in Latin America, where it also has been released on Netflix. The film was invited to participate in many international festivals including Sitges , Popcorn Fright Festival, Grimmfest, Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival and others. Guardians: The BO of this sci-fi title reached $9,765,483 worldwide. The film won the nomination «Blockbuster of the Year» and was acquired by more than 100 countries. PUBLISHING HOUSE Booker’s Bulletin is the primary media product of METROPOLITAN MEDIA Publishing House. It was founded in 2003 as the weekly newsletter e-zine and the monthly printed magazine. The printed edition contains the most recent and exact statistical data on film distribution and film production, the full analysis of Russian film and TV industries, experts’ opinion concerning actual problems of film distribution and production, interviews with the people involved in the industry, estimates for releases in CIS, reviews of advertising campaigns of films and regularly updated schedule of film releases for the next two years.
