Since its move to Heddon Street in 2011, Pippy Houldsworth Gallery has accelerated in growth and focused on building an important new international programme of emerging and mid-career artists producing work of serious, critical interest. Represented artists include Daniel Arsham, Francesca DiMattio, Luke Diiorio, Mary Kelly and Tania Kovats.
Alongside the main gallery programme, the gallery presents a series of site-specific commissions in its project space, The Box. Artists have included David Batchelor, Olaf Breuning, Shezad Dawood, Susan Hiller, Dean Levin, Paul McCarthy, Martha Rosler, Yinka Shonibare, Barthélémy Toguo, Ai Weiwei and Jane & Louise Wilson.
Pippy Houldsworth Gallery works hard to raise the profile of its artists, both through the quality of its programme, and via publications, museum collaborations and public talks. It also hosts museum forums on specific topics, giving curators, writers and artists the opportunity to meet and discuss current curatorial issues.
