Pinnacle 1 Tax Service Started 1981 by Robert K Roe (Bobby) as a franchise in North Charleston and by 1989 the company spanned the eastern half of the United states up to Michigan and down to Florida. In 1990 the company was one of the first to charter and used tax filing software. Tony Roe began working as a traveling salesman around the low country in 1986 offering their book keeping services. In 1992 Tony took control of the company led the further growth along with the help of his wife, Marilyn and father, Bobby. Almost 30 years later the company, still led by Tony Roe as well as some of the original staff, has 32 offices throughout the southeast that locals know they can rely on.
