A family company few kilometers from Alba that has been one of the pioneers of Barbaresco for over 60 years. The Piazzo winery was born from the dream of Armando Piazzo and Gemma Veglia, who in the 1960s dediced to stay and believe in their land, the Langhe of "La Malora" by the writer and partisan Beppe Fenoglio. The far-sighted and counter-current idea of investing then in the main grape variety, the Nebbiolo, was a winning bet. Today the company owns 70 hectares of vineyards , whose 60% is nebbiolo grown. In addition to Barbaresco and Barolo, our depth range of wines offers a quality panorama of the typical wines of Langhe and Roero, with fine, cleanliness and attention to details.
