Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy trains our practitioners and yoga teachers in the art of facilitating awareness. As a student in one of our training programs, you will engage with a process of deep self-inquiry and have the opportunity to use your life's situations and experiences as the classroom for learning how to offer sessions and classes in the Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy tradition.
As someone who receives a session or takes a Phoenix Rising Yoga class, your skilled practitioner or yoga teacher will support you in becoming aware of the relationship between what you experience in your body and how you live your life. Whether its with assisted postures and a style of dialogue that facilitates a conversation with yourself (in a one on one session) or through yoga postures and thematic language (in a yoga class) your practitioner creates a safe space for you to experience yourself in.
