Pescaviar was founded to create and develop a complete range of alternative products to the existing fish roes and caviar, concerned about the current decimation of the sturgeon population worldwide.
In 1998, Pescaviar, supported by a broad distribution network, launched its first product, AVRUGA, made from smoked herring. The year after, the company decided to widen its product range with the introduction of MOLUGA, ANCHOVIAR and LOBSVIAR. These products are made respectively from herring, anchovies and lobster.
In September 2009, Pescaviar started the commercialization of a revolutionary product called Cocktail Pearls. . They bring a new opportunity for those that want to create a different and unforgettable culinary experience for their customers.
But our willingness to innovate did not stop there, just a couple of months later, Pescaviar launched CHOVAS, a creamed mix between fish and cheese that offers a delicious and light alternative to the traditional creams.
