Personal Insurance Federation Of California

The Personal Insurance Federation of California is a Sacramento-based association of the leading property/casualty insurance companies on issues of homeowners, automobile, earthquake and flood insurance in California. PIFC’s focus is on personal insurance. While our member companies may offer various insurance products, PIFC does not represent them in matters such as healthcare, disability and workers’ compensation. Our member companies are Farmers Insurance Group, State Farm Insurance Companies, Progressive Insurance Company, Allstate Insurance, Liberty Mutual Group and Mercury Insurance. The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies is an Associate Member of PIFC. These companies collectively write the majority of the personal lines auto and home insurance in California. The mission of PIFC is to keep personal insurance affordable and available for consumers through state government advocacy and political action.
