Over 120 million smallholder farmers in India struggle to find sowing-to-sale support that provides the market power to increase their low incomes. Their struggle leads to food loss on farms and in supply chains, exacerbated by climate change. Farmers’ diverse and changing seasonal challenges create complex problems that require systems-level solutions. At Pequrel, we strive to increase the incomes of all farmers while reducing food loss and improving climate resilience in farming communities. Using human-centered design over years of user testing, Pequrel developed its flagship product, the Advanced Adaptable Agricultural System (A3S). The A3S platform provides seed-to-sale support for farmers, anchored by its multi-use greenhouse infrastructure.
