Dr. Kim Burgess is a Clinical Psychologist who is licensed in the State of Maryland and specializes in the evaluation and treatment of children, adolescents, and families. Dr. Burgess received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited Clinical program, which utilizes a scientist-practitioner model of training. Her experience with children, teenagers, and families comes from clinics and hospitals including the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (Canada); and her experience with individual adults and couples comes from inpatient and outpatient settings as well. As a licensed Psychologist, Dr. Burgess teaches and supervises at Children’s National Medical Center.
Anne M. Shapiro, Ph.D. has been PPC’s clinical neuropsychologist since 2005. Dr. Shapiro applies her extensive specialized training in the assessment and treatment of patients with brain injury or disease, focusing on the relationship between neuroanatomy (i.e., brain structures), brain systems, neurological disease, and behavior.
