Peak to Peak Medical is an outsource manufacturer of advanced components and class ll & lll finished medical devices serving the global life sciences industry. We find unique solutions to simplify and reduce costs around complex supply chains, challenging product lines, end of life products and stranded facilities. We are passionate about building high performing teams, supply chains and long-term customer relationships. Our success is closely tied to the talented and loyal employees we have attracted to our companies and inherited through facility acquisitions. While our name is new, our roots trace back to 1946 when Christy Orris’s grandfather started Acrometal which became the ATEK Companies. In 2003, Kay Phillips and Christy launched ATEK Medical when it acquired Medtronic’s Cardiac Surgery plant based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This acquisition took the facility and all 200+ employees private and on the journey of being transformed from a plant to one of the leading outsource manufacturers in the space. ATEK Medical was one of the first outsource companies to make finished disposable class II and III devices for many of the leading medical device companies.
