Pax Christi Vlaanderen

Pax Christi Vlaanderen is de Vlaamse sectie van de international vredesbeweging Pax Christi. Wij werken voor vrede, verzoening, veiligheid en rechtvaardigheid vanuit humane waarden en christelijke inspiratie. Vanuit de geest en visie van de actieve geweldloosheid geven wij een antwoord op onrecht en geweld, beginnend bij de meest kwestbaren, en met zorg voor de aarde. Wij inspireren, begeleiden en vormen mensen om tot een vredevolle samenleving te komen. Drie pijlers steunen ons werk: spiritualiteit, leren en actie. Wij staan open voor en zoeken actief naar samenwerking met alle soorten mensen, groepen, organisaties en overheden, vanuit een gemeenschappelijke wens om te komen tot vrede en rechtvaardigheid. PCV is the Flemish section of the international peace movement Pax Christi. The pluralistic NGO works for peace, reconciliation and human rights with Christian inspiration. Based on the spirit and vision of “active non-violence” we respond to injustice and violence, starting with the most vulnerable people, and with care for the Earth. We inspire, guide and educate people towards a peaceful society. Three pillars support our work: spirituality, study and analysis, and action. We are open for and actively search for co-operation with all kinds of people, groups, organisations and authorities, based on a common wish to reach justice and peace.
