PatentFiler allows small businesses and entrepreneurs to file provisional patents easily, efficiently and cost effectively. After the America Invents Act (signed Sep 16th 2011), it is more important to file quickly as our patent system will soon change from first-to-invent to first-to-file. Small businesses would normally be less competitive compared to big businesses with in-house patent teams, but we would like to level the playing field.
