Partum turns neglected buildings into beautiful places that make people feel at home. Our design-led approach seeks to sympathetically and sustainably restore what previous generations cherished, and enhance it to allow future generations to derive just as much joy. Because ‘The greenest building is the one that already exists’, we seek to preserve our architectural past and reimagine it for the future. We believe in respecting the finite resources we have been given and aim to build as ecologically responsibly as possible. We actively seek to work with companies and people that share our beliefs, dare to question the status quo and want to look at new ways of doing one of the oldest things there is - making a home. We believe in fostering the local community and economy. We aim to source materials and craftsmen as local as possible and work with local institutions to train the next generation where skills shortages have remained unaddressed.
