Pars Paper Industrial Group was established in 1967 in northern Khuzestan with the aim of using bagasse extracted from Haft Tappeh sugarcane factory and was put into operation in 1970. For a long time, the factory was the only supplier of printing paper in the country, but due to the damage caused during the imposed war and the lack of renovation and reconstruction during the tenure of the public sector, it was permanently closed and its condition In the years leading up to 2012, it reached less than 20% of nominal capacity. In October 2013, a new chapter began in the Pars Paper Industries Group. The shares of this company were transferred to the private sector and a series of measures for the reconstruction and modernization of machinery, processes and human resources began. It also targeted export markets and diversified its product portfolio.
