Papa Romano's was born April 1, 1970, at Nine Mile and Telegraph in Southfield. It did not take long for word to spread that Papa Romano's had the best pizza anywhere. Soon after, people tried to copy Papa Romano's pizza, but none could measure up.
With locations throughout Michigan, Papa Romano and his highly trained pizza makers make homemade dough the old-fashioned way, fresh every day. Papa still uses his original Pizza sauce recipe made with a secret blend of herbs and spices. Each pizza is hand-stretched and baked to perfection for each customer in each location. Papa's pizzas are NOT mass produced and placed into hot boxes.
