Pak Grease was incorporated in 1965 as a private limited company and it is the only recognized grease plant in the country, at present its equity is shared by following: Pakistan Refinery Limited (owned by Shell, Caltex, PSO etc.) Pakistan State Oil Co. Limited (a Government of Pakistan Enterprises) Private individuals Installation of plant and ancillary facilities were completed in 1970 and commercial production of Petroleum Greases commenced in mid 1970. Since then greases are being supplied to all oil marketing companies and blenders: Pakistan State Oil Co. Limited Shell Pakistan Limited Mobil Askari Lubricants Limited (MAL) Haroon Oils Limited Pakistan Lubricants (Pvt) Limited The above noted oil companies market / distribute the greases under their own brand names in the country through their distribution outlet. Grease requirements of Defence Services (Pakistan Army) are met directly by the Company. Thus, the Company meets country’s entire demand of conventional soap based greases.
