INIXINDO was established on 15th July 1991, at the same time, there was the increase of Open Systems popularity. INIXINDO was established through the visions of Ifik Arifin, a graduate of Computer Science from University of Kaiserslautern, Germany, who predicted that the IT market will be dominated by Open Systems and the Internet.
INIXINDO was established with the resourceful support of many different platforms, starting from UNIX, Windows, and then UNIX version from IBM AIX to SUN Microsystems Solaris, and also Linux Operating Systems. In 1995, when the Internet started to become an important connection tool in communication, the development of computer programming, User Interface Design, databases access and everything that has to do with Information Technology, INIXINDO also has developed their technical resources in the entire field mentioned earlier.
In 1998, INIXINDO has been trusted by Cisco Systems to become an Authorized Learning Partner for Indonesia. INIXINDO has all of the Cisco training products, which enable all the participants to practice their knowledge first hand and solve more case studies while using Cisco hardware, such as routers, catalyst switches, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), PIX Firewalls, VPN concentrator and many more, which make it possible for INIXINDO to have the most resourceful hardware equipment in the Asia Pacific.
Since the Internet boom in 1995, INIXINDO has also been seriously working in developing the database field; Web Design and programming; hardware and network troubleshooting.
In 2000, INIXINDO has been trusted by Sun Microsystems as their Authorized Sun Education Center. And in 2001, INIXINDO also has been trusted to be the Oracle Authorized Education Provider (OAEP).
