Our core team had a vision of what would benefit the industry and the next generation of trainers. We set off by head hunting successful personal trainers we knew of or had worked with. We trained these trainers to teach and assess and these were the ideal team to mentor new trainers to success. As of September 2016, PT Academy has an exclusive partnership with Pure Gym thus ensuring PT Academy has the largest coverage in the UK with the highest number of assessment centres. Pure Gym currently operates 200 sites and has more than 900,000 members. All of the qualifications we offer are regulated by OFQUAL - the UKs regulatory body for qualifications. In turn, all the qualifictions we offer are recognised by the Register of Fitness Professionals, REPS, CIMSPA and every health club operator. The qualifications are also recognised internationally.
