Die Vereinigung indonesischer Studenten (V.I.S) e.V. is an organization dedicated to supporting Indonesian students before, during, and after their studies in Germany. Formed in 1956 in Bad Godesberg, this organization, more commonly referred to as PPI Jerman (the Union of Indonesian Students in Germany), has been a staple in the cultural integration of Indonesians plying their trade in Germany. With over 8000 students living across the country, Germany has the largest amount of Indonesian students in all of Europe. Due to this, there are 30 supporting organizations across the country supporting students in their daily lives.
