POD DESIGN llc ®, established in 2003, is a Brooklyn based international design studio. Specializing in architecture, industrial design and interior design, POD challenges traditional methods and cultural preconceptions to create inventive designs and products. Innovation takes many forms and details reinforce the whole, allowing for modern yet custom interiors and evolving designs. POD has gained media attention from publications such as The New York Times, Brooklyn Magazine, Esquire and Wired. A professor at Parsons and NJIT, Brooks Atwood has been featured on HGTV Star, DIY Network for Esquire Magazine’s “The Ultimate Bachelor Pad,” and on Showtime’s “Show House” at Manhattan’s Cassa Hotel. Atwood has also given numerous lectures, most notably, at the Museum of Arts & Design in New York City, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney, and the Australian Centre of the Moving Image in Melbourne. POD’s work has also been featured during NYCxDesign 2013, ICFF and WantedDesign in New York City. POD is committed to sustainability and believes that admirable design starts with the environment and keeping it healthy. We have therefore signed The Designers Accord and are committed to dealing with issues that face our times and planet.
