The Peace Action, Training and Research Institute of Romania (PATRIR) is one of the leading centres of excellence in peacebuilding, peace support operations, prevention and post-war stabilisation and peace consolidation. The Institute works globally upon request. PATRIR was awarded the 2011 World Vision International Peace Prize and the 2017 Luxembourg International Peace Prize for 'Outstanding Organisation'.
