The negotiation process for contract terms is time- and labor-intensive, it lengthens and delays the quote-to-collections pipeline, and it creates highly variable risk profiles for both parties. Ozeki’s software platform solves this by negotiating the terms on behalf of each party, based on an algorithm and on the parties’ respective contract playbooks which contains each party’s requirements and negotiations fallbacks. This approach to contract formation uses discrete building blocks to represent the material, meaning of a particular clause or term, apart from the actual legalese boilerplate argle-bargle.
