The Oxford Development Consultancy, formerly the Oxford Microfinance Initiative, is a student-run consultancy that provides pro bono consulting services to development institutions and microfinance banks in less developed economies. Since our inception in 2010, we have completed 72 projects in 40 different countries.
We bring Oxford students together to work on consulting projects over the course of 4 months. All student consultants will have an opportunity to embark on a field visit to gather data and understand more about the communities they are working with. Additionally, we run training sessions and speaker events for our consultants. Over the past year, we had training and networking sessions with BCG, Capital Economics, and Oikocredit.
Through our projects, we seek to make a difference in under-served communities around the world.
