Outdoor is a project born in 2010 with the aim of contributing to the change of the social fabric of the city, through cultural actions able to deeply mark the habits of those who live in Rome.
Outdoor is the expression of a contemporary generation, which states its roots on the territory and opens it to international influences, in an open dialogue with the metropolitan ferments of the whole world.
Outdoor has revolutionized the Ostiense district, giving life, through four years of artistic interventions, to the creation of the first Street Art District in Rome. A path started with the realization of the first Street Art interventions on incomplete residential buildings in Rome, and concluded with the first installation in Europe realized through a collective donation. Since 2014, Outdoor emphasizes urban changes in the city and, through temporary actions, has reactivated disused places. In the same year, Outdoor has reopened the Ex Dogana Ferroviaria, offering the city, after 10 years of abandon, a new meeting place. Since 2015 and 2016, with the aid of an international artistic network, Outdoor gives back to citizens the Ex Caserma Guido Reni.
Outdoor believes in change, in the impulses that animate it and in the generational currents that arise from urban contexts. Today, through an international network of artists and producers, Outdoor offers an international stage, in open dialogue with the world.
