Our Village

Our Village™ was formed recognizing the need for artisans, crafters, makers, and small, family-owned shops to have an online resource that allows them to keep ALL money from their sales in order to support themselves and their families. Since you are buying directly from an Our Village shop owner, they pay no listing or commission fees as required by other online mall venues. Our shop owners pay only a $5 per month fee for their shop. That's all. Our home, Chattanooga, Tennessee, has a rich legacy of philanthropy and with your help, Our Village will carry on that tradition as we provide financial support to organizations that support families; focusing primarily on support to battered or homeless women and their families. Twenty percent of our gross revenues are donated to these organizations. Based on the African proverb “It takes a village…”, as Our Village grows, so will our charitable efforts as worthy organizations across America are selected to receive financial support. Our Village is a majority women-owned company. Whether you are purchasing items from our shop owners or opening a shop with us, we appreciate support that allows us to help make the world a better place!
