Osvah Pharmaceutical Company was established in 1966 under the name Iran Merck as a joint venture between Merck and Iranian investors. The company became operational in 1969. The company started out with products such as vitamins and generics, and today, using the latest science and technology, the products include recombinant and anti-cancer (oncology) drugs. Researchers at Osvah Pharmaceutical Company have manufactured drugs with high therapeutic value thereby obtaining a special recognition position within the Iranian medical and pharmaceutical society. Nationwide, the company is renowned as the first and the largest manufacturer in dietary supplements , providing the widest variety. Constant improvement is our strategy and by having modern and well-equipped production facilities, and Quality Control (QC) laboratories with state of the art equipment and instruments besides experienced specialists and well trained staff provide us with the strengths required in achieving our long term objectives. Quality assurance supervision begins with the purchase of raw materials all the way to production, quality control and marketing and ensures Good Manufacturing Procedure (GMP) is being followed.
