Opus Music School is the largest music school in Hacienda Heights and aims to provide high quality and affordable private piano and music lessons and private piano teachers in Hacienda Heights for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students, kids and adults. Music lessons by Opus Music School offer: -A complete music learning experience with a comprehensive piano, theory, and aural curriculum -A positive and non-pressured atmosphere so students can gain an appreciation of music in a comfortable learning environment -Individually tailored lessons customized to each student based on his or her individual needs, goals, and pace of learning -Performance opportunities in world-class venues -Enrollment of students in annual music exams, such as Certificate of Merit and Royal Schools of Music exams -Year-round special projects and student challenge projects Established in 2014. This community means a lot to me. Hacienda Heights is my home and a place I grew up since Kindergarten. I attended Los Altos Elementary School, Newton Middle School, and Los Altos High School. But all through my childhood there was never a music school in the Hacienda Heights, so I wanted to do something about it. In 2014, I quit my corporate job as in Downtown LA and went back to my childhood hometown of Hacienda Heights to start Opus Music School. I believe music is more than an after-school activity - it teaches discipline, patience, confidence, and self-expression. And it's fun! It has been a joy to see the music school grow, with many students from the same schools I went to growing up. Thank you to this community for supporting me in this journey. -Mrs. Theresa
