Opolskie Centre for Economy Development was created in February 2007 by the Self-Government of Opolskie Voivodeship. The main task of the institution is to create good opportunities for growth of competitive and innovative economy in the region.
Opolskie Centre for Economy Development is the intermediate body for implementation of the priority Support of Economic Attractiveness of the Region of the Regional Operational Programme for 2007-2013.
In the field of regional innovation policy, as the managing institution of Regional Innovation Strategy implementation acting on behalf of the Self-Government of Opolskie, the Centre supports activities for effective regional innovation system creation and encourages set up of incubators, clusters, scientific, technological and industrial parks.
Within its Investors and Exporters Assistance Centre having a large database of investment offers, the Centre helps investors to find attractive areas and to set up their business in Opolskie. The centre also have a data base of contacts with the local authorities and business support institutions.
