Open Hub Med

OHM is the first neutral and carrier-independent technological hub in the South of the Mediterranean targeted to host technological equipment of operators, OTTs, enterprises and public administration and to improve the exchange of internet traffic and the landing of submarine cables coming from North Africa, the Middle East and the Far East. Its structure offers conditions of neutrality, reliability and safety according to the highest standards of the industry. OHM’s datacenter is located in the research area of Italtel in Carini (Palermo). The 1,000-square-meter OHM data center is designed with the most advanced technology systems that guarantee continuity of service, scalability of internal infrastructure and electrical power supply. Members of the consortium are: Atomo Networks, Eolo, Fastweb, In-site, GTT Italy, Italtel, MIX, Neomedia, Retelit, Stack Emea Italy and Rete XMED.
