Open House Lofts is the ORIGINAL non-traditional creative focus group facility. Founded in 1999, our research and innovation lofts in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles are the brainchild of a planner, researcher and moderator who had become disillusioned with sterile, lab-like, interrogation room-style focus group facilities and traditional recruiting. Our belief is that inspired ideas can only flourish in an inspired environment, and although our thoughtfully and artistically designed venues are creatively non-traditional, they were built and customized with market research in mind. Open House clients and respondents alike enjoy a uniquely refined, boutique experience, but with all the standard services of a traditional focus group facility.
Open House Lofts handles all of its own recruiting in-house. Environment and methodology are critical parts of any research project, but recruiting is THE MOST critical part. Our organic recruiting methods, vast network, and experience with finding the most difficult to find respondents, regardless of specs or incidence rate, also sets us apart. Unlike traditional recruiters, we do not allow professional respondents to sign themselves up on our website. We do not let digital surveys and AI robots screen potential respondents. We employ real people to screen and have conversations with real people. We go beyond traditional screeners to vet and make sure only the most qualified and engaged respondents are recruited for a research study.
Open House Lofts was born out of a need to facilitate research in a better way and provide an environment and recruiting more conducive to inspiring meaningful and actionable consumer insights.
