Oman National Investments Development Company S.A.O.C. (TANMIA) was incorporated as a closely held joint stock company in the Sultanate of Oman in 1998 by Royal Decree No. 81/98. The company’s name was changed from National Investment Funds Company (NIFCO) via Royal Decree No. 55/2013 in October 2013. The latest Royal Decree has also changed the primary activity of the company from establishing and managing investment funds, to a wider range of allowed investments such as infrastructure, tourism, real estate, services etc. in the Sultanate of Oman.
The major shareholders of the company are State General Reserve Fund, Public Authority for Social Insurance, Civil Service Employees Pension Fund and other Omani pension funds.
