Olde Vechte Foundation

Since 1966, the Olde Vechte Foundation has been functioning as a training center for informal learning in Ommen, the Netherlands. Both group accommodations are part of Olde Vechte Foundation. Since 1966 Olde Vechte Foundation is committed to participation of youth in society, per overnight trainings for educational institutions, cultural exchanges, reintegration projects and personal development trainings. The training centers are open to anyone who is motivated to improve personal and professional skills in order to create a better society and a higher quality of life. Striving to bring spirit and energy to each individual, the trainings and projects of Olde Vechte Foundation take learning as an organic process stemming from the diversity of talents and desires of the people involved. It is a living, learning, working and multicultural environment, coloured by its international volunteers. Though working not-for-profit, the Olde Vechte Foundation is a financially independent organization and therefore is able to offer quality trainings focusing on various topics: coaching, personal development, employability, art expression. Olde Vechte Foundation along with other european partner organisations has founded in 1991 the International Synergy Network. Up to today the network has spread in over 25 countries, involving new partners every year. Through a unique and highly effective way of working, the Synergy Network has supported thousands of people to realize their vision out of their daily life reality. In order to support people in their personal and professional development, it has created a set of training courses that are performed throughout the whole Europe. These trainings are either open calls or financially supported by the European Committee or the Council of Europe.
