The Office of the Civil Service Commission or OCSC is a government agency with the Secretary-General as the head and reports directly to the Prime Minister. The OCSC serves as the secretariat of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) and the central human resources management agency of the civil service. Its functions are also to support government agencies on management of human resources and to protect the merit system in the civil service that enable officials, under appropriate quality of work life, to perform their duties professionally conforming to merit and ethical standards and good governance principle in order to ensure public benefits and national sustainable development.
