OCTO Trading Solutions AG (OCTO LNG) is a Swiss-based SPV that pursues the goal of promoting further reduction of the energy industry’s carbon footprint through injecting liquidity into the low/zero-carbon energy commodities market (LNG and Hydrogen) by developing and delivering a regulated transactional trading venue – an energy commodity exchange marketplace - that for the first time brings together markets in physical and financial LNG and Hydrogen and underpins spot and term low/zero-carbon fuels trading with hedging and portfolio optimization functionality, as well as carbon offsetting instruments helping to globally promote green/carbon-neutral LNG supply – all accessible from one screen. OCTO LNG takes global LNG trading one step further by integrating sophisticated yet intuitive and easy-to-use front-office transaction origination and execution engine with middle-office position & risk management and portfolio optimization, and ultimately back-office functionalities, as well as with a suite of post-trade processing services, including central counterparty clearing, trade finance, blockchain powered scheduling & operations workflow management, and regulatory reporting.
