OCEM was born as mechanical workshop in 1926 from the founder Ugo Giannelli.
In 1953, following the great request of building materials for the reconstruction after WW2, OCEM starts designing and bulding hydraulic presses for the production of modular tiles in stone chips and concrete (concrete-agglomerate tiles).
Today OCEM is guided by the 3rd generation of the Giannelli family and is well known in the international markets as recognized leader in its field for quality, reliability, productivity and inoovation of its products.
The OCEM presses, from 100 to 1480 tons pressing power, can today produce modular tiles and also big size slabs and are machines simple to use, very reliable flexible and fast in production.
The company has its main headquarters in Florence (OCEM 1) and a second production premise in Impruneta, Florence (OCEM 2).
