Noyan Company's vision is to facilitate sustainable learning with the involvement of all national and international stakeholders through a virtual education platform. In response to the Covid-19 outbreak in early 2020 and the growing need for virtual education, the Mobile Communications Company of Iran (MCI) collaborated with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to entrust Noyan Company with the task of launching the first national virtual education application using the expertise of Iranian professionals and domestic infrastructure.
Within two months, the Shad application was launched and made available to users, quickly becoming a platform for educators and students. The application received massive support from over 90% of the country's students, resulting in a significant investment that created a safe and comfortable space for managers, teachers, trainers, and students to interact. The Shad application currently hosts over 600,000 teachers and 100,000 principals who oversee educational activities.
Shad is the largest interactive application in the country, with over 26 million installations. During the peak of the pandemic, it had 11 million daily, 14 million weekly, and 18 million monthly active users, with more than 3 million users present simultaneously. The application's maximum bandwidth reached 520 Gb/s.
In addition to supporting and developing the Shad platform, Noyan Company expanded its virtual education and training offerings by introducing Shadboom and INO School services, with the goal of increasing educational assistance on the virtual platform. Noyan Company also acknowledges the regional and international market's potential by following the actions of young scientists in two medium and long-term programs to enable Iran's technological ecosystem to gain a reasonable market share in the growing education space.
