Nottinghamshire Community Health

With an annual budget of £98m and over 3,000 staff, Nottinghamshire Community Health (NCH) is an autonomous provider organisation delivering community health care services across the county of Nottinghamshire in a range of premises (health centres, schools, community hospitals, GP surgeries, family centres etc). In 2008/09 staff from NCH delivered over one million face to face contacts across the county and providing a range of 17 service lines - including physiotherapy, district nursing, health visiting, speech and language therapy, palliative care and inpatient services. Established in April 2008 as an autonomous provider organisation of NHS Nottinghamshire County, Nottinghamshire Community Health has separate financial and governance arrangements but remains accountable to the PCT Board (in line with Government requirements on provision of health care).
