The North Norway European Office represents the regional interests of northern Norway in Brussels. The office particularly follows and seeks to influence the development of European Arctic policy, regional policy and industrial policies related to raw materials, transport, fisheries and R&D. Kontoret medvirker i EUs politikkutvikling ved å spille inn nordnorske synspunkter så tidlig i prosessen som mulig. Man ønsker å påvirke i forkant samt utnytte handlingsrommet i etterkant. Gjennom tilstedeværelsen i Brussel er kontoret dessuten landsdelens kompetansesenter på EU/EØS.
