North Georgia National Bank opened its doors on February 10, 1999. Inspired by the leadership on an entirely local Board of Directors, the bank neglected the idea of a blind formula that places the fate of a decision in the hands of an office hundreds of miles away, but instead, focused on building relationships with each client to ensure the best product and service possible. Today, North Georgia National Bank is grounded in those same values. The bank operates two full service branches and a Compliance Center in Gordon County, as well as a newly opened full-service location in Dalton, Ga. North Georgia National Bank was a finalist in the 2022 Chattanooga Times Free Press' Best of the Best Awards and holds a 4-Star "Excellent" rating with Bauer Financial. North Georgia National Bank was voted Best Bank, Best Mortgage Company, and Best Teller in the 2023 Calhoun Magazine Reader’s Choice Awards.
