North Carolina Film Office

As part of the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina, the North Carolina Film Office promotes North Carolina as a location for television, motion pictures and advertising productions – helping facilitate the creation of more than 900 films, 25 television series and numerous documentaries and commercials for more than 35 years. North Carolina offers a rebate of up to 25% on productions' direct in-state spending, including wages and compensation for above and below the line employees as well as residents and non-residents, as well as the purchase and/or rental of goods/services from North Carolina vendors. The rebate is funded through the North Carolina Film and Entertainment Grant, and is functually uncapped.
