The North Canterbury Transport Infrastructure Recovery (NCTIR) is an alliance formed by Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency and KiwiRail with Fulton Hogan, Downer, Higgins, and HEB Construction.
NCTIR's objective is to restore the road and rail networks following the Kaikōura earthquake and make them safer and more resilient.
Over 8,000 people from more than 1,350 organisations have been involved with NCTIR.
The programme is scheduled to finish in December 2020.
