Founded in 1984, Clavia DMI AB is the company behind Nord Keyboards. The introduction of the world’s first virtual analog synthesizers the Nord Lead in 1995 caught the attention of keyboard players around the globe and with the development of the Nord Electro in 2002 and the Nord Stage in 2005, Nord Keyboards set a new standard for sound and playability. Award-winning products such as the Nord Stage 3, the Nord Piano 5, the Electro 6, Nord Grand and Wave 2 has firmly placed Nord Keyboards among the world’s leading manufacturers of premium stage pianos and synths. R&D, marketing and manufacturing is located in central Stockholm and the Original Red Keyboards are still handmade in Sweden.
