Nissin Dental Products Europe B.V. is a fully owned Dutch subsidiary of Nissin Dental Products Inc., “Nissin”, incorporated in Kyoto, Japan. Nissin’s humble beginnings started in 1948 from a small factory in the city of Kyoto under the name Nissin Dental Material Laboratory to become one of the World leader in dental education products under the Nissin Dental Products Inc. since 1973. In November 2018, Nissin successfully found an agreement with Moog B.V., subsidiary of Moog Inc., to acquire the assets and business associated to the Moog Simodont® Dental Trainer, a virtual reality dental training solution combining Moog’s expertise in haptic technology and ACTA’s (Academisch Centrum Tandheelkunde Amsterdam - Academic Centre for Dentistry in Amsterdam) experience in dental education to help students practice more efficiently and learn faster.
